The firm was first established in 1962 by Robert D. Goodwin as an electrical contractor. Subsequently their line of service offerings has grown right along with their staff. New Name Better Encompasses Wider Solutions Focus
TUCKER (Atlanta), GA – May 31, 2011 – LMI Electrical Contractors, Inc. announced today that the 49 year old firm has changed their name to LMI Systems, Inc., to more accurately reflect the company’s growing line of power and connectivity services. Long respected by the trades for their work as electrical contractors, LMI is now offering services ranging from network cabling to security systems, audio visual solutions and telecommunications.
The name change is the first component of a complete rebranding campaign that owners initiated to better reflect the current business model.
